So, what size shoe do you wear again... Lol!

AE (10.5 EEE) > Bonafe (804 10G) > Carmina (Detroit 10 EEE) > Vass (P2 43.5H, F 44.5H) > Alden (Barrie, TB, Van 10.5 E) > Lobb (10 EE)

PSA: It looks like H. Stockton has a few Alden models on final sale with fairly steep discounts (I ordered the reverse tobacco chamois captoe boots for $238 shipped). Disclaimer: Appears to be final sale (though I intend to use my credit card's return protection if there's an issue) and I've never ordered from them before.

I was going to post this in here but ya beat me to it. I bought the reverse chamois captoes last week at 299 before the latest drop, though I bought in person. I love 'em. 238 is too good to be true territory, and they still have 9-10.5 D's left. i've never received anything in the mail from them, but i have bought in person there many times over the years and they provide excellent service.

Despite my ridiculous current situation with boots, for $238 I would have another pair on the way if they had my size...

For me the transition was AE >Alden > AS > CJ > EG. My Alden's all are in rotation but I only wear two of the AE with regularity.

I'd love to try Carmina, Vass & EB. I've got specific models from each I am looking to acquire.

For me:

CJ/Lobb - EG/GG/Vass - (AS)/Alden

I currently own maybe 20% CJ, 20% EG, 20% GG, 20% Alden, 5% Vass, 10% AS and 5% others.

How do the monk strap Alden's look after they're broken in? I'm looking at the FD-954 and wondering do the strap holes become elongated over time and usage? I would think cinching them down repeatedly would wear on the shell.

Curse my 10D foot!!!

Oh, man. I’m not selling off any, except the Bonafe chukka in my sig. the last didn’t work for me. Also maybe my AE color 8 shell Bradley’s. They’re really nice, but I haven’t been wearing them that much.

Pair of Leffot Dearborn boots in size 9.5D on the bay listed for $1,199.99
Crazy for a model that has been made before and most likely will be made again.

Not angry, maybe a little annoyed (they are my size and would have bought them for retail if my size had not been sold out). More curious if someone would be willing to pay this for color 8 shell. I guess good on the seller if they can turn that kind of profit.

Now if the Cigar NST from the TSM seconds that were so violently ripped from my hands (sarcasm) show up on the bay for a crazy price, I might get a little pissed.

I told myself today I’m good on snuff suede boots. Alden x B&M Alden x Epaulet and Alden for J. Crew.

People can ask what they want but getting is another story as you know. There is a pair of snuff suede boots on there now for a cool $1100 lol . Been on there for at least 6 months.
