Crazy for a model that has been made before and most likely will be made again.

Not angry, maybe a little annoyed (they are my size and would have bought them for retail if my size had not been sold out). More curious if someone would be willing to pay this for color 8 shell. I guess good on the seller if they can turn that kind of profit.

Now if the Cigar NST from the TSM seconds that were so violently ripped from my hands (sarcasm) show up on the bay for a crazy price, I might get a little pissed.

People can ask what they want but getting is another story as you know. There is a pair of snuff suede boots on there now for a cool $1100 lol . Been on there for at least 6 months.

Yup. There's a vintage seller that starts everything at like $1500, even if the market is really only $250.
I think they're hoping for the Japanese collector market.

Yeah - that give me some perspective on what TheShoeMart's perspective is on my Mahogany boots and how they priced them. (Yeah, I'm saying "my" now... )

That’s a fine line up. What last are the plain toes on? I have a pair on Plaza sitting in my closet. Trying to warm up to them.

No arguments here. If they can get it, good for them. More interested to see if they really sell, and a little sad that they are not in my price range. I vote Leffot puts out a Ravello/Snuff version of this boot. Call it the "styleforum boot" and offer it to the most active Alden forum contributors...and me

As others have said, both look great. The darker of the two has more "character" and I would go with it.
