As a kid, the Wizard of Oz was one of the scariest movies I'd ever seen. The flying monkeys taking off...I remember having nightmares about those. I had a sheltered childhood and didn't really see horror movies until my teens w/friends. I guess Mom thought a little girl, a tinman, a scarecrow and a lion. What's not to love.

It was kind of scary. The eerie backgrounds, the lion who looks like Metallica's singer, the music -- I don't really enjoy watching it as an adult as it's too weird. The sequel was even more creepy and I don't plan on watching that ever again.

Of the recent acquisitions, these natural shell Carlyles have been getting the most wear.

They are surprisingly versatile and are among the best fitting RTW shoes I own.

I would guess that they're not restocking that based on the fact that they're basically completely sold out. I think you can just order the Strand with a Dainite sole swap whenever you want though.
Not on the website. They used to have the sole swap option but now its only the “customize” option. If you exactly duplicate the one sold out you end up with a $525 shoe vs $450 and no returns. Maybe I would have to call? Seems weird they would do this.

I think if you called the store, they should be able to get one made for a $40 markup. At least that’s what it used to be with the “customize” option that you’re referring to.

That’s what I’d think, but it’d be better if you could verify your bannock size.
It’s a relatively easy fit as it’s a classic PTB shaped last.

Super delayed here - finally had a chance to verify Brannock sizing: ~9.75D left, 9.5D right. This is while wearing the thickness of sock I'd be wearing with this boot.

There's an inexpensive pair in 9D available I'm tempted to go for. Worst case I have a better size reference if they do not work out.
