Thanks for sharing. What do you think of them? Olive, right? Do these have a darker welt and lighter edge? I think they'd look really good with lighter laces... or by darkening the edges, depending on whether they would be worn casual/formal. I've had these in my cart multiple times. Ultimately passed because I was confident we'd see either PAB or Hami in the lasts TS.

Darker welt and lighter midsole, Olive Dainite. Could easily be changed with some heel dressing.

I'm a fan of Balmoral boots so I knew I'd end up with at least one pair.

My sister got married! I wore burgundy suede Macneils for the rehearsal dinner and Cobbler Union Miquels for the wedding. It didn’t take long for the mirror shine to get scuffed.

Finally - chili shell Dundee weather!

I received my marbled McAllister boots in the mail while I was out of town over the last few days.

The pair has better coloring than my Strands, but I haven’t seen them in good lighting yet. I did notice a few manufacturing issues with the pair, but it isn’t super noticeable. One thing I did notice is that the heel counters are oddly shaped, but it is oddly shaped identically on both pairs. I assume that they’re using the Hamilton clicker dies for the counter, so I wonder if there is some kind of issue with the die. I want to look at my suede Hamiltons to see if the aberration exists on them as well after I get home from work today.

The MCA boot is really a stunner though. The pattern really is a winner, and it would be super cool to see as a full run model in calfskin or suede in the future.

I received my green and brown shell watch straps from this year’s trunk show today. I am going to lighten the brown strap.

Love those! Think I might have to agree with you on best shell color from AE.

These are natty, though they lean closer to chili. Esp the darker right boot.
