Every time I put these on, I am reminded of just how good the 108 last fits me, especially with the open laces. I wish they made more stuff on the 108.

Got my marbled burgundy Strands in the mail today and a marbled burgundy belt yesterday. To say that my pair from 2019 is miles more interesting than my pair this year would be an understatement. I swear to god I cannot win with the marble lottery. I am hoping the pair of McAllister boots I bought turn out to be more visually interesting. Most of the pairs of marbled burgundy on Facebook from 2024 have all been very disappointing except like one pair. I wonder if Horween just sends all of their barely marbled stuff to AE.

The belt is pretty neat though, but it isn’t like anyone would really notice that it is marbled unless they walked around you in a circle while observing only the belt lol.

Sounds like my black marbled freeports from a couple of years ago. They are black, but are they marbled? If you look closely you can see some slight variations on a panel or two, but for the average joe, they look like black boots.

It is a crap shoot for sure, and at the new prices, you need to have a lot of crap to shoot.

Thanks for sharing. What do you think of them? Olive, right? Do these have a darker welt and lighter edge? I think they'd look really good with lighter laces... or by darkening the edges, depending on whether they would be worn casual/formal. I've had these in my cart multiple times. Ultimately passed because I was confident we'd see either PAB or Hami in the lasts TS.
