Who's got it? I thought I'd be over it in a couple days but this is the fourth day in a row I've had a fever. Spending three days on the couch watching TV sounded way better before I actually had to do it.

I had it, last week. It was mild as **** for me - fever was really only 1 night and into the next day a bit.

Unfortunately, I was still just tired and doing a lot of coughing and sneezing, and my throat was very sore. I was bored as crap sitting around the house all day - I really could have/should have worked from home, but what I did instead was kill two seasons of "Monk" on DVD, and about two gallons of chicken and rice soup.

The ****** part is that it has lingered, very low-grade, for another week. Though I feel great, I still have congestion (though this always happens to me - I have nasal polyps and so anything turns into a secondary sinus infection) and I still have a mild cough and my lungs sound like hell. Again, I feel 100%, but this is just annoying.

My daughter had it a few weeks ago, but amazingly, both my wife and I managed to avoid catching it from her.

I've had a lingering head cold for the past week that was bad enough.

I got it earlier in the summer, while visiting Romania.

Being the first documented case of the virus in the country, I was quarantined inside a (very dirty) hospital alone for 6 days before our insurance company arranged for a private jet to take me back home!

I used to get recurring malaria every few years. Eventually I got over that, but told peeps that it was my malaria coming back whenever I got a cold - sounded way cooler and manlier to have battlefield malaria that a nasty cold! Maybe I should convert my current cold to the avian-swine flu?

I got over it last week, definitely sucked. Sore throat lingered longest, headache and fever went down after a couple days.

I already had it, fever lasted 16-24 hours and then there were some lingering symptoms like coughing, lethargy, headache etc. After a week I was back in the gym.

The wife and I had it last week. The bad part lasted a day (fever, severe chest congestion, etc.). The associated cough, however, killed me for a week and it's still wreaking havoc with the better half.

Oh well, it's over now.

I had it in June. 105 temp for a day that slowly regressed back to 98. 6 over the course of 3 days. I rotated between 3 Tylenol and 3 Advil every four hours and drank lots of fluids. Watched Band of Brothers for the 10th time.

My body felt horrible and I was fatigued (basically felt like I did after football games in high school) but after 4 days was fine. I did have a lingering cough and congestion in my chest for about a week after.

Anyone try a Z pack against it?
