I'm unable to visit a store so I'm winging it with their free return policy. Their Size Advisor recommended a 36R for me. This seems way off, so I ordered a 38R in Lazio. I think it looks good, but is extremely tight. I have a few BB 346 Outlet suits and a J Crew Ludlow that I've always hated for being to constrictive. This one from SS feels the same way. I'm just not sure if that's the trim style (in which case it's not for me), or if I need to size up.
I've read a ton lately on these forums and elsewhere. On the one hand, most people wear suits 1-2 sizes to big. And yet a suit is "supposed to be comfortable". So which is it?
When I lift my arms for a handshake I can feel the jacket tighten across my upper back. It's very restrictive.
I ordered a 40R to compare, but would appreciate any comments you might have. I've searched this forum extensively and hopefully am not being redundant.
Also, I've been trying to figure out the drop on this suit. I think it's a 6? The pants are very tight.
Thanks all!
