Does anyone have any experience with the Suitsupply belts? Been looking at their "dark brown belt in italian cow leather" as it is a bit cheaper than Allen Edmonds and some other competitors.

I do. Everything outside of Suitsupply's core business is a total crap. Especially their leather goods and shoes. Stay away from them.

I am pretty content with my suitsupply shoes. Sneakers hold up well and the oxfords I got 8 years ago are standing strong as well.

I have 3 SS belts. 1 suede and 2 leather. I’ve had them for 3 years and no issues. They don’t compare to my Carmina and Paul Evans belts but there is a huge price difference.

I've heard that they used to have a proper Goodyear welted shoes many years ago, but I saw only their Blake stitched shoes and they are horrible.
Their sneakers are meh - heavily coated leather that will most likely layer and split after some time. For the price you can buy a much better sneakers.

Their shoes are of the lowest quality imaginable. Avoid them, especially when you can get decent quality leather or sneaker options from Skolyx, Meermin, etc for the same price.

For those who have received custom suit orders over last few months…
What’s the consensus… good results? Measurements consistent? Quality good? Would love to know if it’s still worth the investment… the free returns if it isn’t up to par certainly makes in intriguing

I actually just received (a couple of weeks ago) a custom made jacket and the length measurements were completely wrong. It looked like they mixed up the front and back length. The front should be a few cm longer than the back by default (based on how SS measure it) but my jacket arrived with the back much longer than the front, which made the jacket look comical. I raised this to customer support and they said nothing besides that I was free to return it (which I obviously did). To be honest, I didn't love the fabric anyway so I wasn't too fussed about it. However, I do want to get a linen suit made for summer and now I'm a bit nervous following this experience, so I'd also be keen to hear if anyone else has had similar issues..

I have two other custom made jackets which turned out fine, but they are both more than a year old, and it seems that SS have made quite a few changes to the custom made process since then (as many posters have pointed out on this forum).

As you pointed out, you can always return your custom made item but it's still a bit of a hassle. I also wonder if they would ever refuse repeated returns..

Yeah....I'm not really in "need" of anything right now just was curious with the changes recently made to the program what people's experiences have been. It seems at least on the surface it's not positive. And they have just raised their prices an additional $25 here in the US.

Tell me about it.
About a month and a half ago, I ordered a custom tuxedo for an upcoming event. I opted for a basic Reda black fabric, and the fit when receiving was spot on, flawless. However, they forgot to add in the milanese button hole which prompted me to exchange it (unfortunately, resulting in an entire re-make - almost feel bad). At the same appointment, I was looking at getting a off-white dinner jacket made up and browsed the fabrics available and fell in love with a beautiful 4-ply off-white fabric from Rogna. In the space of a month a half, the price of having that fabric made up into a dinner jacket has increased twice, and now just that jacket along cost the exact same as my entire tuxedo.

Is there any chance anyone has experience with the vbc 895.610/550 (off-white tropical wool) fabric? Looking at having a dinner jacket made up, but hard to guage how that fabric would look on an entire jacket.

But the fit was good?

Did you alter the measurements of the front & back of jacket?
