Thanks!

I'd never cleaned them before. Ordered the Loakes and cleaning supplies. I was pretty sure I ruined my Carminas and was very upset. Nope. Even the flat areas of the nap that looked scuffed beyond repair are fine.

Leads me to wonder.. why aren't ALL my shoes suede?!

Exactly!

Low maintenance goodness of the highest order :slayer:

Thank you. It's a lovely shoe. I have the black calf-skin version.

Cheers,

Andrew

Andrew, forgive me this unbidden post but it is my favourite pic of my suede Hallams...

Pony skin and suede loafers from 80s or early 90s. Limited production, this pair is #7 of 36 pairs. Tiger of Sweden made decent shoes back then. This pair had pull tags long before Thom Browne was selling shoes

X-POST from Loake.

Welp. They look FANFUCKINGTASTIC with jeans. I don't like boots. I really don't like chukkas. Something about this last, and some from Meermin/Carmina, change my mind. I'd never own GG or EG chukkas. Last is too proper for a boot.
