Bravo, sir. Bravo.True but at this point and this level of make, most people are choosing the construction for aesthetic purposes which is exacerbated by the use of large stitches. Not a chance those boots, with their modified dress shoe last, are going to be used to stand in wet fields for hours on end.
Frankly the Lattanzi loafers are even more of an oddity because wearing a loafer in wet weather is wholly counterintuitive.
