Just an update on my first pair via the personalized last option: right shoe gave me a blister near the heel; left shoe gave me some slight discomfort near the top line. The Armoury is sending them back to be re-lasted. They're going to lower the top line by 2mm and fix the heel issue by enlarging the shoe.

What's next?

Which leather / color are your most recent pair?

The most recent pair was the 581--Des Voeux in CRU 609. I think it's a versatile color that I plan to use again, particularly because I do not prefer black shoes.

Next I'm looking at a navy suede (BCK) loafer (533/533x) for the summer, and maybe a split toe derby (508/633) in Russian Calf?

What about you? Any new St.C orders/ideas on the horizon?

Trying to decide on my next order. Considering the 575

or the 633

I've seen the 575 IRL but not the 633. Anyone own these? Having any opinions on how well St. C does this Dover type stitching?

I prefer the 575 because I feel that the 663 is trying to be too close to the Dover. I haven't seen it in person but if the stitching isn't the same you would be better to just get a Dover.

I've had the 633. It is an awesome shoe. Way better than the 575.

St. Crispin's fit me far better than G&G, and IMO the quality is better--and the wait shorter. Never had the opportunity to work through fit problems with EG.

I've had the 633. It is an awesome shoe. Way better than the 575.
