Maharishi Parka

Has anyone seen this in person? I'd need to order it cuz I live in a wasteland where even mainstream brands like Maharishi are hard to find.

Looking for a light jacket for S/S down under and thinking of pulling the trigger on one of these. Maybe more than one... Help me make up my mind.
i'm split between 1 and 3. i dig the blazer, but mac coats are pretty sweet in general and the one you've posted looks nice. but hey, since the blazer buttons all the way to the top, it's kinda like buying a short mac coat and a blazer at the same time, right? right? also, i always find long jackets unwieldy for standing around in a bar or something. but if you have enough blazery things already and want a change in silhouette, go for the first one.

fist, i'm digging #3, but i have an unhealthy obsession with blazers

Thanks guys. I was leaning towards the blazer. I do like how it buttons all the way up. It's 100% linen and unlined. Should be perfect.

I'm tempted to grab the coat as well; it's only ~$100 for a VA special edition. It's only 90cm, so not too long either. I'd hedge a bet that I'm taller than the model in the store pics.

Fist, I'd go 3rd too.

More importantly, why are you buying a jacket for S/S in Australia? :puzzled:

Your question's even more applicable for Brisbane. 27°C today. Bloody beautiful. I'm going for a swim when I get home.

To answer the question: I like to wear a top layer.
