thoughts on dropping "Paris" from the brand name?

I mean, to be honest, I thought dropping Yves was the dumbest idea ever but I got over it. Now I see the boxes without the paris and they look like fake saint laurent boxes. Eventually I'll get over it as well.

Younger folks aren't really your average Gucci client.

Going to disagree here, at least in the last year, having gone to Gucci Rodeo and Fifth Ave, I've seen an incredible influx of ultra wealthy rich kid snobs that dress like slobs walking in and grabbing whatever off the racks and coming out with $20k worth of stuff. Of course there are the older clients and tourists that will maybe purchase a clutch, loafers, sunglasses or a t-shirt but those people seem to be far more restrained while the younger rich kids are literally walking in and out like this -

Saw the Eli 25 side zip on a staff member the other day and they looked great. Really wish I bought them now. I didn't like them on the website pictures, and I wasn't in stores when they were available, and so I missed out.

Finally purchased a pair of leather harness wyatts. Heard that saphir shoe polish is the best, but which one do I buy out of these two to treat the leather every once in a while?

I think everyone raves about Saphir renovateur, which hanger project also sells. At any rate, they have information on their site concerning leather upkeep, so you could check there.

Shoe cream is probably a better option for what Hedi intended. Shoe cream and renovateur gives it a soft glow. Wax is more for creating mirror finishes and that starts to lead you closer to classic menswear styling.

Shoe cream is great to covering and filling up light scuffs. Renovateur conditioner is more "heavy duty" and I would use a lot more sparingly, and mainly for if I exposed the leather to a lot of rain/snow/salt etc.

Ideally brushing with a horsehair brush is all you really need most of the time.

I don't disagree with a certain rich segment. Those same kids wore slp highlight pieces, fog, amiri, etc. I don't know how many of those are around the world though. I live in the Bay Area. Plenty of rich people here but I guess cost of living is so high that people can't let their kids go spend like that.

If these types of customers actually turning the profit for Gucci then I guess they have it made. When you are just buying for the label, you don't have to do much quality and creativity wise.

Looking into a new watch, really liking the Large Tank Solo from Cartier. Was wondering if that was the same model like Hedi usually wears or if it’s a slightly different one?
