I think it has gone downhill because most of the new colorways coming out are complete garbage. Especially the Lanvin Sketcher look-a-likes that Sq actually seems to like considering he owns a pair.

It's funny how clarks have become the default shoe for fledgling style goers even though they're not really sf approved (well by those opinions that matter anyway).

nothing is wrong with them. I can understand the boring sentiment for some of the basic colorways, but a fresh pair of sand db's are and will always, IMO, be the exception.

Sometimes you just need a shoe... I think they can be more interesting than a pair of equiv priced oxfords/loafers, esp in the right color + season FWIW I plan on getting a pair of sand colored ones
