I'm 5'7" as well, not that easy to buy in the US I have to say. A lot department store in the US don't even stock that size in suit (36S to 36R), or just limit to basic colors not the full stock.

on the flip side, people used to be significantly smaller than they are today so there is a ton of really great vintage that will fit. meanwhile i stand 6'3" so it's a no-go for anything pre-1985 for me.

But, but, if you go way pre-1985, they had pretty cool hoodies.

I have to get everything I buy hemmed now adays. I'm 5'7" and a size medium or large, everything like a dress. I could start tucking the front though..



501s are much slimmer than these. Maybe some of the LVC 501s that are a truer repro cut. I find modern 501s to be pretty darn slim.

LVC 1944s aren't quite JNCO-level baggy, but they have some serious leg room and an admirably high rise if that's what you're looking for.
