Nice shine, may I ask what cream/wax you use for your tan scotch Pembroke?

Thanks! Nothing special, Reno (or some tan colored Meltonian) and Kiwi tan wax every handful of wears. Leather is great and does not need much upkeep.

I'm curious about the Audley III, shown here: http://www.styleforum.net/t/265437/new-cj-audley-iii-last-367-scanlation-from-oct-issue-mens-ex

Is this model an MTO or is it in current production? I've never seen it in person but it appears to be the perfect captoe. I'd love to lay hands on a pair. If others are interested, I suppose we could make a group order to negate the MTO fee.

I also wonder if there is a surcharge for ordering shoes in a non-standard width. I'm in the market for a pair of Alex in 8.5 F, but it's only made in E width by default.

If it works out, I'd be interested in an Audley III. It's a Japan-only shoe as far as I'm aware, so that's why you don't see it around.

C&J has some models for the Japanese market (their #1 market I think). Lots of 337 goodness.

Does anyone know if C&J uses metal or wooden shanks? If they use metal shanks, has anyone activated the security alarm on airports with their C&Js?

I don't know whether they use wood or metal, but I wore a pair of C&J on my latest trip to London and I didn't activate the security alarm in Heathrow.

I passed the security in my Brecons without alarm, but they are on the Dainite, maybe this matters.
