Are those still new?

Speaking about sickness and Scotch Grain-shots, have people thought about joining a GMTO for a green pair of Pembroke's? As part of my personal development I need to set new goals in life, and this would be one of them.

It’s actually the Teak Oiled Sides version of the Islay (but I do have the Chestnut Skye III somewhere…)

Ah, so close in colour, but now I see that the brogue pattern is different. Which makes them both desirable, of course! 😃

why these bad vibes on brown?

I like both scotch grain hues very much. DBSG is perfekt to navy chinos and raw denim.
The bad vibes ? Thats putting it lightly. This TSG vs DBSG thing has become a serious matter now. It's turned into Tan Crotch Grain vs Dark Brown Crotch Grain. So its either theirs or ours now.....

A new pair of Chelseas, the "Lingfield" in UK 7 in dark brown.

The last 348 in UK 7 as boot fits perfectly from the beginning without a break-in being needed:

Enjoy your evening and best regards

Very nice. I think the Lingfield is one of the best Chelsea boots out there. I bought a black pair for a friend of mine and always find myself envious when I see him wearing them!

It's a sickness, isn't it? It's always „one more boot, but that's the last one!“.
My rule is one pair in, one pair out. I do that with a lot of clothing items. It keeps me very selective and thoughtful about each purchase. Hard to purchase anything I don’t absolutely love, since it is competing against the incumbents. 21 pairs of shoes/boots should cover a wide range anyway.

I would do well to take this approach… running out of closet space over here and could afford to be more discerning with my purchases…
