I don't see anything wrong with it although, personally, I would mix the tropical wool with the same fabric for trousers, and the 80% wool 20% mohair with the flannels. For ties, you can never go wrong with grenadine, especially fine grenadine. The wool would be best for your flannel, in my opinion.

Why would you mix the mohair with the flannels? I thought a mohair would be a better fabric for summer.
