I'd like to get some definitive information on shirt fit.

I've returned numerous landsend shirts, assuming they are too small. I know for a fact that the mediums are too big. With the smalls, they seem to fit fine UNTIL I pull my arms back. At that point, there is some obvious pull on the buttons.

I've tried this with my other shirts, both regular fit and slim fit. In most cases, the button pull isn't evident.

I'm wondering if I can "get away" with a shirt with some button pull, or if this is just ridiculously small. Like I said, it looks just fine in other body positions.

I would post fit pics, but no camera. Just wanted to get this issue cleared up.

Why are you pulling your arms back?

Reminds me of the time I saw a mother at Goodwill testing a sport jacket's fit on her teenage son by having him hold his arms over his head.

Unless that's how you intend to wear the item normally, don't do that.
