So.... Let me get this straight... You are actually considering a cropped cotton PS over full image on 100% silk........? AND the cotton is more expensive................................

This is in no way a comment on either product as I've never held either in my hands, but I have some Swiss cottons in my vintage fabric collection that are more expensive, and of a higher quality, than run-of-the-mill export silk. Also, printing quality can run the gamut from poor to artistic. So, without either product in front of me, I'd hesitate to put a higher value on either solely based on the fact that one is silk and one is cotton. Now, the aesthetics of the crop are another matter entirely.

That Murray picture could be cropped so the more interesting neck/shoulders/condecorations area is in the center

Just to give you 2 reasons that will explain your comment.

1. The squares are hand rolled in the UK.
2. VAT is included.

Someone posted a video tutorial here about folding a pocket square. I remember it was on a website like vimeo.com. The person who explained the folding was also a bit of an older man.
Anyone know which video I mean?
