I'm considering these Constant from Sierra Trading, as a semi-casual everyday shoes. I'm a US 9 to 9.5, but from my experinece with French shoes (Heschung), they run one size bigger, such that my 8.5 Heschungs actually feel a little roomy. Anyone can comment on Paraboot sizing?

Paraboot use U.K. sizing.  I bought one size smaller than my U.S. size (9 instead of 10).  I do not find them to run quite as large as Heschungs (at least the one pair of Melezes that I own) which required me to go down one and a half sizes (8.5 instead of 10 U.S.).

Hope this helps.

i think they run a little wide. i have the avignon model and have to wear thicker socks. but then again, i wear 10.5D/B in Aldens.

I know I am resurrecting this thread, but I think it is still relevant today.

I want to order a pair of Paraboot Avignon, but I live in a city without a store that sells them. I hope someone with Paraboot experience can help me out.

I am 8.5FUK in most English shoes (Church's 178 last, Church's 138 last, Cheaney 173 last, Grenson G1 Chancery 23 last etc etc.)

However, I am a size 8 in a lot of Italian blake-stitched shoes, and a size 9.5E in a Allen Edmond model (I forgot the name, but all 9.5D AE are too narrow for me.)

What is my best guess for Paraboot Avignon? An 8 or 8.5uk?

Thank you.
