Any fitter will recognize that the fronts hike up and the back of the jacket sits on your hips. You have enough room across the back, the tightness you feel is a result of the jacket balance. The back is long in relation to the front and creates drag. Simply put, the jacket is not positioned on your upper body as it should be and creates tension points when you move and it therefore it feels a bit tight.
