y'all, thoughts on the HOK last? hopped in that ultraflex chukka MTO since it's basically exactly what I want, willing to take the gamble on QC... 10UK hiro fits great, waist could be a little tighter, but I've got wider feet so I couldn't size down to 9.5UK... so, the MTO says to order same size in hiro for a snug fit that will break in well. true? I checked the sizing measurements, which seem fine if they adhere to them... curious about girth measurement though, and also, phrasing...

thanks!
I’ve two pairs of Hok boots but no other Meermin as comparison. I’ve a Rui lasted cordovan boot en route from the sale which is due tomorrow..

I like the fit of the Hok but then fit is subjective. I usually wear English country boots do prefer room and width, Hok provides both but looks elegant at same time.

Sweet, let me know about the fit on the Rui please. Anything you could compare the Hok to across different companies? I've done pretty well across the board with a 10UK and a US 10.5E. 10UK EG 202 was a smidge tight, 10UK Carmina Uetam is a almost the perfect fit except it's a smidge tight across the inseam. 45 in some random gucci loafers I found is perfect. 10UK on Hiro is also near perfect, but a bit loose in the arch area...

although, at the end of the day, considering these are unlined chukkas, as long as my feet aren't sliding around on the inside and they're not too long, I think I'll be fine with the fit...

thanks!

Can’t find a single
Fault on these from
The sale. Will try on later

I didn’t have the same chance... received two pairs yesterday.
101518 - OAK ANTIQUE & BROWN COUNTRY CALF - E and 101513 - BLACK CALF - E on Olfe both with defects.
I already own about 11 pairs, but what i received was even worse than their factory seconds on eBay.

Is it mainly welt join on the boots? It’s not terrible at the price point. I’ve seen many brands be happy with that as a first.
The shoes may not be too visible on the foot? I’m no shill for them and I’ve many other branded boots. I’ve got a pair of eBay which is heavily creased cxl and obviously was listed as such, I’ve a couple of cordovan (including this) and two more en route..
Are you keeping or returning?

welcome btw too!

I sent them pictures this morning, no answer at this moment.
The gap on the oxford is visible + I feel the nail when trying to wear the shoe, that’s not funny. Make the Oxford for me impossible to walk in.
I will probably keep the boots, depending on their answer.
