Went to buy

http://custom.luxire.com/collections/blue/products/pale-blue-dress-stripes

But no cart was available. Guess it's sold out

I think they're pretty busy at the moment -- stuff seems to be selling out and my latest order (put through in late January) hasn't even shipped yet.

On a different tangent, I recently finished trying out a number of online shirt makers and completed a comparative review of them and Luxire compared quite favourably -- can't wait to get my latest order.

Someone took a pic of me w/ an old friend the other day and I happened to be wearing pants, shirt and jacket by Luxire:
1400

The jacket's collar is normally snug. The gap is from his arm pulling on it from the back.

How deep is that single forward pleat? Your standard 3/4"?

Have you made another attempt since posting? It works for me and I'm able to add the shirt onto my cart.

No I didn't, I see it's back in stock now. No biggie though, I"ve ordered the pale blue oxford instead.

PS Luxire got back to me regarding the pale pink oxford originally ordered, it was a mistake on their end. I'll be buying the pale pink oxford later on.

Hi guys,

Ordering my first shirt, so a bit of a newb question. I'm going off existing measurements, however, even on my best fitting shirt, there is a small amount of billowing at the lower back. The bottom measurement is 19", but at the back it is 22" (as in measuring the bottom of the back of the shirt; the panel of fabric under the yoke). Will taking a few inches off this measurement and specifying in the measurements I provide take away some of the billowing?

I'm just worried this will in some way affect other factors. I will ask Luxire, just thought a quicker response may be provided here. Cheers guys

I'd suggest darts and that is what I do, but not everyone likes darts. Even if you do not like darts, it may be the easiest solution for a first shirt order and then you can build off that in the future.

Yes this seems sensible. Thanks. How do I specify darts and how much fabric to take off? When I pin the shirt at the back, pinning about 2 inches of fabric seems to reduce any prominent billowing.

"Please dart the back" is all I put in the notes and it turned out great.

I'm trying to decide on my next shirt order(s) I have the standard Luxire button down collar and like it pretty well, although I'm probably less critical about it than you all. I did ask for 3'' points and am happy.

Would you say the standard Luxire BD is closer to semi spread or spear point for comparison sake?

Thanks!
