Are you guys doing sets or turn out 30+ straight? Either way, I am impressed.

...I know you can do more than that...
I do sets, before I got hurt I could do 20 pull ups straight and I would do 100 x 3.
I got hurt and I am now getting back in shape and I am doing chin ups, soon I will start to contribute.
I have never been able to kick out 20 straight. I've gotten close, and that was when I was underweight at close to 150 lbs. Now I am 25 lbs heavier (I should actually sit at around 165 lean, but I am 175-178, and that last 10 lbs or so is not lean, at all. I can do 15 straight, when rested but not cold (i.e. if I have waited a fair bit after a set of something else on the circuit). I'm going to see if I can hit that 20 by the end of the summer. Anyway, zero today (rest day, just some pushups to keep warm).
1512 + 7 (I know . . . ) = 1519
I'm confused as to the difference between chin-ups and pull-ups. My understanding is that they are the same thing.
Chin ups have your palms facing towards you and thus you get more bicep involvement, pull ups have your palms facing away from you and give you more lat involvement.
I'll pitch in to move it along. Every now and again I do the 100-rep 'challenge' I saw on some youtube vid or something - basically 100 pull-ups as quickly as you can. (dead hangs btw, not those kipping things I have seen a .gif of)
Today I did 100 pull-ups in 19 mins 21 secs
So:
1519 + 100 = 1619
1619 + 32 = 1651
Hmmm... Do you do anything in between, or just rest? I might be able to do this if I rest only (my pullups are always as part of a circuit, total time of about 45 minutes). If I am doing any upper body in between? No way.
1651 + 25 = 1676
FYI. at this rate we're only going to get 28-30k or so.
