How do you store your silk pocket squares?

I have a modest pocket square collection and am wondering what the best way to store them between uses is? I prefer them to be creasless, so no folding. Any advice is much appreciated.

My collection has grown exponentially over the past, well... (check date I joined SF)....few months. I was wondering the same. I have mine folded in quarters in a drawer... but I would love to have them out on dressing tables a-la-Charvet boutique.

If you want to keep them without folds, you would probably need a long and deep drawer or storage system. By the way, enjoy the squares you got from me!

I fold into quarters, then in half and fan them so I can see what I have. I put the winter ones away the other day and brought out spring and summer to add to the year round ones.

Eons ago the Neiman Marcus in Atlanta used to have a giant brandy snifter with them in "puffs" dropped in the glass. It looked pretty cool. Like a huge mixed ice cream sunday.

I have 4 large plastic containers that I store squares by color in my closet so they stay fairly wrinkle free

I have a 1.5 square foot section of the drawer where all squares (about 15+) go there without ordering. They're all lightweight -> can't really crease themselves or others anyway.

Folded, in a drawer.

I thought it'd be cool to store them in a dresser with a few wide, deep and short drawers, like a map/architecture cabinet.

This is what I was trying to explain above... thanks for saying what I was thinking.

I wrap mine around an old cardboard toilet-roll tube. Keeps them creasless but also doesn't take up any space!

That is actually a pretty cool idea. There are smaller antique versions used for storing small instruments and tools that would do the trick and look nice a a closet.

You could have a drawer for each major color, material, design theme (paisley, solid, check, etc.)
