Still some great looking items on the Sample Sale page! Mostly 10.5D, but also a few other sizes left.

Jungle Kangaroo Ottawa (not sure which sole, but looks like leather). Kangaroo boots will be going away soon from what I hear.

Tan Calfskin Ottawa (Incas tannery) on leather sole. I can't get over how amazing these look.

Dark snuff oiled shoulder Brass Boot on leather sole! Never seen the Brass on leather - super interesting.

Storm (gray) waxy commander Brass Boot - looks like C.F. Stead's anthracite - these are different than the Earth color! Patina monsters.

The tan calfskin Ottawas caught my eye as well. They look brilliant. Hope these see the light of production.

Yeah. The 1757 last from AE fits me better than the GS Leo. I am venturing back into the PNW brands, but I can't help myself coming back to GS.
You might want to see how the Alden Plaza last works for you

Take the same size as the 1757?
I do. I'm mainly talking about how "shaped" they are. For me, Plaza in my Brannock (12D) is better than 1757 in the same, but both are good and have a very tailored fit.

The pair on the far left is fantastic...
Thank you! Still have mud on the welt from hiking along a hidden creek in Topanga Canyon. Then a quick stop by The Rock Store for some lunch with my daughter.

Trying to get better at pics. Ranch Palos Verdes, CA

Killer lighting there, love it! Phones tend to default to a "full" screen photo which is actually quite a tall and narrow shot that can tend to crop out a lot of the subject. Try a 4:3 or at least a 16:9 aspect ratio on your phone and see how you like it. A 1:1 (square) photo works well in many instances too.

I had to stand in a field of grass to make my blue Chromexcel Diesels actually look blue. They are very green indoors but do take on more shades of blue in sunlight. I ordered some "blue" Saphir Creme polish to help bring the color over a little bit but the polish ended up having a lot of yellow hues and looked just as turquoise as the boots. I ordered this navy blue polish but it honestly looks so much like the dark green color that I wonder if it was mislabeled. Or maybe the jar got overheated at some point and the pigments separated out. I think the boots are even more green now after a couple coats, but they look great to me anyway! (The photo is pre-polishing). As seems inevitable with any CXL footwear, they've already taken on several irreversible scrapes and dents. I have learned to accept it.

@manowar Thank you for the tips. I agree they do look kinda green. Still good though! What would happen if someone were to take saddle soap to CXL? Would it be a fresh start or ruin the upper layer?
@basu13 Thank you. I don't/can't/won't baby any shoes/boots. Thats why i had to get quality!
Action shot before I read this, riding in Hilary! LOL
