Been a while - sorry gents. Life has been pretty intense lately, so haven't been thinking of the fun stuff as much.

Still some great looking items on the Sample Sale page! Mostly 10.5D, but also a few other sizes left.

Jungle Kangaroo Ottawa (not sure which sole, but looks like leather). Kangaroo boots will be going away soon from what I hear.

Tan Calfskin Ottawa (Incas tannery) on leather sole. I can't get over how amazing these look.

Dark snuff oiled shoulder Brass Boot on leather sole! Never seen the Brass on leather - super interesting.

Storm (gray) waxy commander Brass Boot - looks like C.F. Stead's anthracite - these are different than the Earth color! Patina monsters.

Have these ever been conditioned? And if yes- with what product?

I can't actually remember, but I don't think so. I was trying to stick with a damp-cloth wipe-down routine with these to let them age as naturally as possible, so I think they're pretty much untouched by product.

If I did, I'd probably use Bick 4 or Reno. I don't want them to get too dark, so I'd have to think about it before using Reno.

This is what I'd been waiting to see. There's no description of what color this is, but it looks like maybe olive minerva? If they release an Edward boot in this color, it would be hard to say no for me.

My field boot lineup! One thing I noticed on the black CXL ones, is the tongue goes a bit higher than the others. This is actually really nice. I don't know how or why they are like that, but I love it. Perhaps the others should have the same.?

It may make more sense for another green-ish color now that the jungle kangaroo is going away

Part of the reason I held off on the kangaroo is because I felt it was a little too dark. This is definitely more green, although I'm sure the kangaroo was a lot easier to break in than this minerva will be.

It's hard because I know I can get away with wearing 10.5D even though I know it's not my best size. I was hoping the models I was interested in would sell out faster than they did.

Maybe you should try a different brand? I think I read that GS boots don't fit you well.

Yeah. The 1757 last from AE fits me better than the GS Leo. I am venturing back into the PNW brands, but I can't help myself coming back to GS.
