Looking through the non-binding expressions of interest so far, I see:

Thorpe:
@NewStart
@Pbayvip
@TtownMD
@Steel28
@OREO (speed hooks)
@dddrees (no speed hooks)

Isham:
@JubeiSpiegel
@grc1
@whyriver
@rydenfan (colour too close to EG rosewood?)
@dddrees (too reddish?)
@daizawaguy

Two-tone: Walkton / St James
@mw313
@TtownMD
@Steel28
@Ironist
@laufer
@JubeiSpiegel

Tavistock
@JubeiSpiegel
@TtownMD

Other
@nickrut (anything except Thorpe or Isham)
@rydenfan (Wells or Glencoe)
@daizawaguy (Hove)

Are we starting to build critical mass around some projects yet, gents?

Thank you sir.

Gable would be strong, might by my number 1 pick if it could be done.

We could do a double monk w the monk strap made of the kudu.

I think a single leather kudu is as discrete as it gets as the leather is already accentuated in colour and texture. Two tone would be too gaudy. Isham Isham!

I would be down for St. James two tone but only if it's TG73.

Wow. I'm already in on the kudu/cedar and pearl grey St James, but these will be off the hook. I'm 99% in on that makeup. However, I may be in for Thorpe or something else too just for variety. It's an amazing looking leather... I love the combo though.

the monks are a great idea too, but it will be much tougher to make shoes in only the kudu because there is only so much in the first place.

Thorpes are too much material. Lol

i agree that is a lot of material for having so many people interested in pairs. shoes would make more sense, and having two tone pairs can give enough material for many more.

Nobody has actually specified anything except Kudu with one wanting speed hooks and one not wanting speed hooks.

Okay - thanks - and the powers that be can count me as interested in seeing the details when they crystalize. Not a deal-breaker either way for me, but speed hooks make a lot of sense on a tall boot, particularly a tall derby boot.
