I've owned 2 folk knit cardigans and 2 shirts.

Both knits are average quality, and one has developed several holes (merino) wool). The shirts are ok, although with one a button fell off within the first wear. They're all made in China.

The styling and fit are great, but the quality is lacking. If you get them at steep discount, I'd say they're well worth it for the time you will have them (no more than 1-2 years)

Having had a few items of folk clothing and circulated through them, the consensus seems correct.

Jackets and coats, good quality

Knits/sweats - meh

Shirts - meh

Trousers - meh

Shoes - Good quality but no half sizes, so fit can be a gamble.
