That all looks good. Shouldn't have much trouble. Make sure you set the BIOS to AHCI rather than IDE (most seem to default to IDE) in order for your SSD to work properly.
You may want to get some more case fans, a few Noctua 120mm fans should do the trick.
*edit* just noticed you don't have an aftermarket cooler. The stock intel one BLOWS. Loud as hell and ineffective.

Just saw your edit. I did some research and people say that Nexus makes the quietest fans, so I'm thinking of getting two of these:

Also, people say you don't need an aftermarket cooler for the i5 2500k unless you're over clocking it. Do you think I should still get an aftermarket one if all I'm going to do is play games?

Thanks a lot, really appreciate it! I'm probably not going to play other games.
I may have to go with EVGA for the lifetime warranty. First card I had for my build was an XFX that crapped out and I forgot to sign up for the lifetime warranty. I purchased a BFG card after that (which did have a lifetime warranty) and the fan died one year later. I sent it into BFG but they went out of business and sent it back. I was able to transplant the XFX fan onto the BFG one though, ahhaa.
Excited to play this! What class is everyone starting wtih?

just be careful because you aren't going to want to run it at 1680x1050 but rather 1920x1080/1200

Since you're going for quiet, the stock cooler is anything but. It is loud as **** when spinning up and is all but effective when playing intense games. Do yourself a favor and at least get something like a Hyper 212+ for around $20.

I'm all over that witch doctor :) and is it me or does the Monk seem... neglected in terms of skills compared to the others?

Thanks guys. Yeah, I'm leaning towards the hyper 212 EVO for now. It's available at my local micro center so I'm gonna head up there to pick one up pretty soon.

I'm posting my build on the anandtech forums and they're all saying that getting case fans is unnecessary if my main priority is noise and i won't be over clocking.. regardless, I'm probably going to get a couple antec true quiet 120/140 fans at the MC when I'm there.

How are the demon hunters? I used to play the amazon in D2, thinking of trying out the sorc this time.

i was originally inclined to play the monk first, but when i saw a video of his higher level skills, i was seriously underwhelmed and disappointed. he seemed like a weak ass ***** lol.

Wow, even I think this thread reeks of nerdom. ;)

In other words, I approve.

I never did get into Diablo, but might actually give this one a shot. I plan on upgrading my Macbook this summer so hopefully it will be able to run this game.

That would be awesome. I meant to start a Starcraft 2 clan for SF, but never got around to it since I didn't play it as much as I wanted to.

I'll probably start a DH as my first hero; I was also a big fan of Zons in d2x.

I'll be studying for the bar exam this summer, so I'll probably be on a bit in the evenings.
