So does anyone else wear shell Carmina's and sweat pants?

You kid, but legit thinking of pulling this look.

Thinking of an MTO for model 80277 (no broguing, no pinking, plain toe) in Llubi with fur lining (for Canadian winters) in black cordovan. The chunky last, low profile boots, and sweats sounds like it would work in my head lol.

Make sure and ask for Commando sole (itshide, not the traumatana) and that would be bad ass. ?

Ya, was thinking Victory soles actually since it would keep it more versatile, but Commando soles would make it look badass AF. High-end Doc Martin vibes.

Anyone here able to post some more photos of their Calway / 80791 boots to help nudge me over the edge on the to jump on their GMTO? Pretty sure I've looked at all the posts on Reddit that feature this boot but would love to see some more :)

Would anyone have sizing guidance based on the below for the Oscar last? I ended up jumping on the GMTO offering but would love some guidance on the sizing:

All the insoles measures 290mm from the tip of the toe box to the heel
Viberg 2030 9.5 E (UK)
Alden Trubalance 9.5D (US)
Alden Barrie 9.5D (US)
Alden Plaza 10D (US)

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
