This is on a the lid of a teapot...can someone ID for me? It's on an auction and I am considering bidding so trying to date/id it.

Its a saying that is used during the Lunar New Year wishing one good health. The translation is pretty much the equilvalent of strong and healthy or Hale and Healthy.

Translation was done by my folks.

Looks like Japanese cast iron teapot tetsubin, reads made by Ryubundo, probably Meiji period. Good luck!
