Poured one myself last night. Its a great bourbon, but patience, I can assure you, the peak is still out there! This year's GTS is a good one, but I've probably has 2 or 3 bourbons that are somewhat readily available that are just as good at far less $$

Nice! How did you like it? I picked up an aged KC at this year's Spec's Bourbon Drop (I was laughing to myself since the KC 18YO area was empty, with the lineups all waiting to buy Blanton's) and can't wait to try it!

It is an amazing dram...hard to find...this bottle is a few years old now. But, still delightful nonetheless.

This caught my eye at the wine store today. On the lighter side (and nothing wrong with that), smooth and honeyed.

Most recent release of Booker's is case in point, I'd probably have traded my GTS for another one of these had they been available. Also really liking the Calumet Farm 16 year old bourbon.

Apprentice? Mighty Fine? Storyteller? Which bewkers? ;)
