you're a few years late to get on the hype train. we're about to switch to the post hype train

$500 seems downright reasonable. I've seen it go for $1200 in retail shops in the city

had a Rittenhouse with ice last night. Was pretty hot as you guys said. I'm still pretty new at all this. It was ok, nothing special. Maybe I should be mixing with this?

Damn, I should have bought the 23 I saw for $400. I thought that with a new release prices would depress again,

try an old fashioned. if you want to be uptight about it splash a small sugar cube with angostura bitters and spend 20 minutes grinding out the sugar with a muddler (you might need a little bit of water). express a peel of an orange, add ice, and enjoy. i prefer making rich simple and have better control over the dilution

you could also make a sazerac which is the same thing with peychaud's bitters and an absinthe rinse if you have an absinthe type liquor

Blanton's straight from the barrel. First bourbon I've owned/drunk...I'll spare you any attempts at describing the taste (because I'm horrible at it), but it was delicious.

For hopefully a good price?

I really want to try the rye but can't find a good price

Made a quick swap for a couple beers and such, nothing crazy if you don't count the secondary market. Pretty even either way you slice it, so yeah...
