My IR’s were very comfy and the break in wasn’t bad at all. They felt very narrow at 1st but then seemed to give and fit my foot perfectly after just a few wears.

I sold them as they were perfectly suited to bad weather and mud etc apart from they had no tread on the sole and the cold seemed to transfer through the sole a lot.

Otherwise lovely boots and the amber harness leather is great.
That is why I sold my Iron Rangers. I had the oiled cork soles (which I guess were a nod to their heritage are no longer made). Anyway, they were miserable in the cold. The cold seemed to penetrate those soles very quickly. My feet have never been so cold.

Yes, I have a few pair. Black, Tan and Brown Leather, black suede, taupe suede and acorn suede so 6 pair in all. Excellent boot, I went TTS and have found them to be very comfortable. The leather versions are not lined if that matters. For the sale price, and as a casual boot, they are hard to beat.
Damn man, you have a TON of great boots that overlap.

I do have a ton of boots, and yes, a lot of overlap. But in reality, every one IS different in some way. Similar color on some, similar leather on others, but I only have 3 pair of exactly the same boot. One pair I am attempting to sell (in my signature) and the others are "spares" new in box, in case the companies stop making them.

The Carlos Santos arrived, the service from Cavour was astounding, free 3 day shipping. As for the boots, well for $195 I can't complain but I'm not too thrilled with the way they lace up. Looks crooked to me. I switched one to cross lacing and I think it looks better. Am I being too picky?

I wouldn't accept that, it would just bug the hell out of me. Frankly I would call and see what remedy we could come to.
