Trickers need to make the likes of these again . Maybe on their 200th anniversary (2029) we might see Trickers doing Shell again.
Hmm, I love my Tricker's, but don't think I'll be in the market for any shell offerings. A hatch grain whisky shell maybe, but my Tricker's are the workhorses of my collection and don't fancy spending €1.200+ on them.

Nice boots!

Which Galway-type boot can you recommend? The original is from Edward Green.

I am flirting with the "Perth" from Crockett & Jones:

Or the "Valway" Boot from VASS:

Best regards

Pascal

No direct experience, but I prefer by far the Valway. I find the last much more pleasant and coherent with the style, whereas the sleek last on the Perth clashes somewhat with the rugged vibe, also enhanced by the storm welt.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
