Hmm, I love my Tricker's, but don't think I'll be in the market for any shell offerings. A hatch grain whisky shell maybe, but my Tricker's are the workhorses of my collection and don't fancy spending €1.200+ on them.Trickers need to make the likes of these again . Maybe on their 200th anniversary (2029) we might see Trickers doing Shell again.
Nice boots!
Which Galway-type boot can you recommend? The original is from Edward Green.
I am flirting with the "Perth" from Crockett & Jones:
Perth Coffee Antique Calf & Dark Brown Willow Grain
Perth, a derby boot with a straight toe cap design. Made from the finest coffee antique calf leather with a dark brown willow grain leg for added interest and comfort. Featuring Dainite rubber soles. From the Hand Grade Collection.eu.crockettandjones.com
Or the "Valway" Boot from VASS:
Valway high boots * F - Vass Shoes
Valway high boots * F - These Valway or Swedish high boots are very versatile derby style boots. They are perfect for slushy weather and for dry, cold winter days as well. With four pairs of speed hooks, with a “wing” on the sides of the shaft, and with a toe cap. Manufactured with the...vass-shoes.com
