Does this apply to summer as well? I have to admit that I find boots incredibly comfortable and love the way they look. I am just curious that everyone seems to advance the idea that boots are fall and winter only.]

This issue about wearing boots in summer has bothered me for some time. About two years ago I got some reassurance that, as far as the boot people on here were concerned, it was generally OK to do this. There are also plenty of people on the net who wear boots in summer.

My plan, so far, is to try to wear them throughout this coming summer. I guess I will only give in if the weather gets too hot...or maybe I will just carry on wearing them anyway.

Of course it's OK to wear boots in the summer! If someone personally finds them too hot and decides not to, that's their choice, but if that's not an issue for you then why wouldn't you? Sorry if this is uncouth, but anyone who tells you otherwise is an idiot who cares way too much about other people's opinions.
