Hi guys can I please ask some thoughts on 270 vs 360 goodyear welts... which do you prefer and why?

I am MTO'ing some Carmina jumper boots in No.4 shell and Natural shell and I can't decide whether to go for 270 or 360. All my GYW shoes are currently 360 and I do like the look, but 270 also looks very sleek.

270 is more formal imo. Jumper boot in shell is casual so I'd go 360

they seem overpriced when u compare the build quality to say a GS boot.
super comfortable but I wont pay full retail for them personally.

Thanks guys. After further thought I also prefer 360 as it just looks more "correct" to me and 270, while admittedly sleek, just looks incomplete somehow to me. Very subjective and irrational of course!

What do you guys think about regular welt vs storm welt, is there any major reason not to go storm? I will be having rubber soles not bare leather.

I found this pair of Wolverine 1000 Mile at a thrift store for cheap. Likely a 9D whereas I am likely 8ee for 1000 Miles.

Gary Coakley in London Ontario rebuilt with a leather wedge build up, and Vibram Kletterlift outsoles for grip. Great for comfort and versatility.

Red midsoles and welt stitches to make them different.
