Hey everyone, I’ve recently added Birkenstock Mayari sandals to my collection and I love how comfy these sandals are. But I’m not sure how to style them, I’m looking for some new ideas on how to style these sandals for casual days out as I don’t want them to be just my house sandals. I’d love to hear from you about how you style your pair of Birks. Do you have a favorite outfit combination you think would look great with them?

A bathing suit and a terry cloth after-swim overshirt, such as those made in Portugal by OAS.

Just because you can wear open-toed sandals everywhere nowadays doesn’t mean you should. Generally speaking, nobody is interested in seeing men’s toes unless they are within stepping distance of the water or the bed.

For casual city wear in summer, get a pair of canvas espadrilles, such as those made in Spain by Castañer. They have rope soles and won’t last long on pavement, but they’re cheap and smart looking. And nobody will have to ponder your toes. Not even you.
