Berg & Berg usually have some decent quality belts in a variety of colours for reasonable prices. Not much stock at the moment but they have a couple of burgundy (Bergundy?) belts left depending on your size. Or you could wait until they get new stock in.

Another option is an RMW chestnut belt which is basically burgundy - they have a dress belt for $75. It has a little logo but hardly noticeable IMO.

Here it is in black -

And this for ref is the chestnut colour -

Damnit, I knew that would happen!

Now I'm going to be excommunicated from the iGent community.

To counter the perfidious and unfortunately pervasive influence of D'Marge, here's an interesting and informative article about how Montebelluna in Italy became the centre of production for high-quality hiking boots and rock-climbing shoes:

    http://www.outsideonline.com/2003146/birth-boots

As an added bonus, there's no use of the word "dapper" or "gent" anywhere in the above article whatsoever and the only use of the word "rock" is in conjunction with "climbing", rather than "How to Rock XYZ in dapper style".

It's SEO-hell the entire thing. Sometimes I get drawn to it in the same way I get drawn to The Daily Mail's website; cos it's so pervasive and all-consuming that I can't avoid it.

To be fair to them though, it's well built for it's audience; mouth-breathing, I-need-a-pocket-square-for-derby-day-where-do-I-get-one, scuffed-toe'd aquila types. Which unfortunately accounts for most of the market, and worryingly - most of my mates. They'd think that site's great, and would revel at the opportunity to review some Hugo Boss suits from $1595 down to $1195.

Anyway, I'm not sure where I'm going with this post, so I'll wrap it up.

For any Brisbanites interested in getting some shoes, I just received a message from Mitchell Ogilvie advising that, amongst other offers in their current sale, they have discounts of up to 70% on their Canali shoes.

Mitchell Ogilvie stock some very nice Canali shoes, but at their usual, eye-watering price of $1000, they are rather over-priced. At $300 or $400, though, they're a decent option.

I am thinking about getting some shirts made up at Kazuna, options looked nice and I just want to support him too.

Has anyone done this? How did it turn out?

You don't need a stylish shoe horn. Get a cheap one free when you get your shoes.
