Not that you guys are my only friends or I am a loser or anything, but it would be nice to come by. Also, I don't want to ruin the fun for anyone else, but is someone going to check IDs. I'm 21 and I don't really drink but she's 20 and does enjoy wine.

I'm going to try and talk her into going.

Keep the pimp hand strong - dump her until after Valentine's day.

Notice half of my posts she comments directly under me since she has joined. She has also made several different s/n's on AIM. I am seriously considering not attending this event and if I do attend and she is in my presence I will file police action and a restraining order. (sorry to involve the rest of you with tthese problems but Ashland you seriously need to leave me the hell alone)

Just spoke to Sid.
We are definitely on at his place for January 26th, but have adjusted the time slightly-6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
Sid asks that you call him (at 404-350-7135) by the 24th at noon to give your name and say how many are coming with you (SOs, spouses and friends are welcome) so he can make plans for the right amount of beverages and snacks.
For those of you who have not seen the shop, you will be astonished at his taste and the level of quality of his goods. More good news-his end of season sale will be on then; nearly everything except shirts and shoes.

That is great news! I found out my grouplink is the same night, but I will go after stopping by Sid's.

As much as I would love to be there, I don't think I'll be able to make this event. The timing just ends up being bad for me. I look forward to the report and visiting Mashburn's shop in the future.

You know, I've heard men are easier to manage.....

I don't have an expansive higher-end wardrobe, but I would have made this event provided I didn't have to pull an all-day shift Saturday. I just found this thread, since I don't normally frequent the MC section.

Have fun, let us squares know how things went!
