Hey, new member here. I often browse but thought I should finally sign up.

My sister is getting married in a month and it's gave me the the opportunity to buy my first ever suit. The problem is I'm not sure if the sleeves are too short or not. I wear pretty slim/skinny casual clothes but when it comes to smart things such as this I need some advice. I'm aware the jacket is a little small in general but I'm on a pretty strict weight loss plan and I've already lost 5 stone so by the time I loose the final stone it should fasten better (obviously this won't affect the sleeve length though).

Excuse the out of place jogging pants by the way, ha.

It's a much more modern fit- very popular amongst youngsters in the UK (I'm assuming this is you by "stone") and especially Korea.

It's not necessarily classic wear and it probably won't age well, but, if you're young enough and skinny enough you can probably pull it off for the time being. When you grow up, though, you'll need real coats. ;-)

Yes they are and that fashionable edging to the lapels looks hideous. Think of the photographs in twenty years time when this silly fad has disappeared to where it belongs - oblivion.

God that looks ridiculous.

Haha, together with the skinny lapels it makes the jacket look absolutely tiny. Pockets under your armpits.

If this continues we will have peak waist coverage soon, after that the pants and jacket will start to migrate away from each other.

The jacket is far too short; it should cover your ... uhh ... 'behind.' Sleeves aren't that bad.
