They're actually raising them to $185, not sure why they're at $175 right now.
Chinese made denim, cut and sewn in Macau (glorified Chinese factories).

It's partly an increase in cotton prices that's leading to that. Just about everything 100% cotton will be going up within the next two seasons as cost trickles down to the consumer. http://money.cnn.com/2010/09/09/news...ices/index.htm Brooks Brothers looks to be up soon, LVC continues to rise (I know about the whole new location in Europe thing and management, but whatevs), and in mall brands you're seeing less and less 100% cotton stuff - a lot more cotton/poly blends.

yeah my first ever raws were apc NS and were 155 retail but got a discount on them. this was several years ago ... cant beleive the prices on them now. at least now there are plenty of better alternatives at that price point.
