I have been wondering the same thing regarding short wings options. With the clearance sale that started this morning, I took a look again at the Nomad short wings. Considered them for a moment, and flipped through the photos. I stopped at the one with the rubbery sole. What is that thing? Anyone have experience with it? The looks of it make me think the shoe may be oddly squishy.
Are you referring the the Nomad XL sole? They're not overly squishy, but definitely going to not last as long as better soles. I'm going to change to leather soles at some point. AE says recraftable, but i bet I'll have to go third party for material change. Suede is split as well, just FYI.

Don't go to the bespoke shoe thread.

So, because I am curious and usually stupid, I did. Scanned the last 10+ pages (10% of the entire thread). There was a total of one post that had photos of shoes (3), none of which were being worn. Seemed like some people were arguing, but didn’t bother looking further. I’ll pass.

Judging by the placements of their upper pockets, I'd say that picture is reversed. And here's another pic (bottom) that looks to be from the same day. Also reversed? I'm starting to wonder but I still say, yes. Why however, I do not know.
I attended the Nikon School of Photography and learned to flip photos for use in the United States and other countries where the populace reads from Left to Right. If the original Kennedy brothers were facing toward the left of the photo, then our eyes would attempt to read further to the right where the photographic story theme has to place to settle, causing us to deliberately turn our eyes from right back to left (the reverse of our we read a book).

Here is a good example:

Yes, that's the one. Like many on this board, I have enough shoes that the wear characteristics aren't a huge concern. I'm more likely to pass due to the split suede, though. I didn't notice that on the website. Since I'm pretty unsure about fit of the 42N last, I think I will just stand pat.

Is the coffee color on clearance? WHy is that?
It seems that they are changing up the browns. First bourbon was cut and they replaced it with coffee. Then they added cigar and eliminated dark brown. And now they’re cutting coffee from the lineup.

I don’t know. Maybe this is part of a plan to keep things fresh.

I needed some run around shoes for summer. Picked up 2 pair on the last 20% off clearance sale for a 100 dollar bill plus tax. Sedona's fit the bill and I kind of like the orange gumlite soles:

Turner drivers turned out to be a bit too bright red in person and will be relegated to either house slippers or possibly be called on for game day duty:

Near as I can tell they are split, but maybe they aren't. I'm just judging by the bit of raw end on the tongue.
Mine are the original 42, which is similar to 65/201. Neo said 42N is less volume/ narrower than 65
