The JBM's were included in the RDA sale???  I looked on the site and they were gone - I figured a limited run was done.  If they can still be had, especially at a sale price, I'd really like to know...

Happy Throwback Thursday forum pals! The RDA has come and gone and I didn't order a thing. Still waiting on the trunk shoe that, like unicorns and hobbits, is starting to sound like fiction. But I was able to find and rehab a pair of semi-vintage Florsheim long wings from 1999 in dark brown that I had been looking for to replace a pair of MacNeils that I ruined with salad dressing.

Does anyone happen to recall the names of the sales assistants at the 44th street AE store in NYC? I had a conversation on Monday, 10/10 with a tall gentleman with glasses and a very nice Lady about doing a special order. They took down my number and email and said they would get back to me ASAP, but it's been two weeks now. TIA

I purchased two pairs of the Delray, one in Dark Chili and another in Black. I love the Chili, but for some reason the black doesn't seem to work as well. They remind me of Kenneth Cole or some other cheap brand. I'm thinking about exchanging them - anyone experience something similar with black Delray?

I have a much older pair of Del Rays where the pattern looked different. The large vamp piece on top is smaller and the split toe pieces on the sides are larger and extend higher up. I don't like the newer look.

I am definitely ordering the First Ave in burgundy shell if the trunk show ever starts. This would be a great pick for navy blue shell cordovan if someone is willing to risk it. I'm actually a bigger fan of Alden's better arch support and support of the metal shank but the Plaza last just doesn't fit as well as the 201 AE last.

another option would be the C&J for BB cordovan boot. that is a cap toe with dainite sole, speed hooks
