Dear all,
I have a pair of ecru corduroy pants that I absolutely love, but unfortunately, they’re no longer being produced. I’ve explored some alternatives, but everything I’ve found is quite expensive—generally over 250 euros.
I was considering a different approach: sending my existing pants to a tailor abroad (for instance, in Thailand, India, or Eastern Europe) and asking them to replicate the design. My plan would be to purchase a single pair as a sample, and if I’m satisfied with the result, potentially order a few more.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
P.s. Im based in Europe in case this is relevant.

- Do you think this approach is feasible, or would it be more complicated than it sounds?
- Also, do any of you have recommendations for reliable tailors who might be able to replicate the pants within a budget of around 100–200 euros per pair?
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
