This thing is cool.
I'd been circling that one. But I have a ton of outwear bought/on the way.. Are you planning on leaving the collar as is, or propping it up? I can't tell if the collar is too big to prop up..
Does anyone here routinely wear suspenders?
I've always turned away from them, visualizing Larry King. But some pictures I've seen, they do look cool in the right circumstance on younger dudes.
Thinking of maybe trying 'em out one day.

I rock them but not regularly
That is how I would probably approach wearing them.
I'm curious as to what inspires you to wear them. The degree of formality of the event?

This is all sage advice and generally correlates to when I wear them. My suspender-reqdy trousers tend to be slightly more formal (don't think I've ever worn them with cottons or tweed) and higher rise.Agreed with Andy, though I don't like the idea that they can never/rarely be seen, and would certainly not equate then with actual underwear. I know this is the traditionally held view of them, but I think it's fair to say that is an outdated one.
Note: that said, one should NEVER wear them sans jacket as an outfit. I will often pop my jacket off once I've been in the office for a bit (thus suspenders will naturally show), but I'd never start the day with suspenders and no jacket.
