Two questions

1) sorry if I missed the answer, when do Valstar pre orders end?

2) sizing advice on the Ivy relaxed DB coat. Greg sized down two? But is wearing over what looks like a not-so-chunky turtleneck.

My Normal tailoring is 52 (leaning 54 ish) and would like to wear the coat over sport coat or suit. 52?

I’d recommend sizing down 1 from your normal IT size. But you can definitely go for the full volume and take your regular size if you don’t think it will be too much

@gdl203 did you try on the Virgil flight jacket? True to size on that one? Measurement look a bit oversized but I get that it's padded.

I usually wear a 52, sometimes 50, in Valstar depending on the cut and how I want it to fit. I think I'll go 50 on the Virgil as it seems to measure quite a bit larger than any of my other jackets, even my shearling aviator.

P.s.- the Vittorio is such a nice coat. It magically looks great no matter what you've got layered under it.

nmwa team - thanks for updating the measurements. re ↑ should i consider sizing/size consistent with the o.g. era nmwa exclusive clint western jacket?

All the samples of the wool broken twill were the brown color. I didn’t see the blue or green colorways in person.

I like to wear mine either with a short jacket or with a long coat. I feel like either complements the full shape of the pants. I love wearing those pants btw.

I'm also surprised by this. For size 50, linen size chart shows a 21.3 inch chest, suede says 22.4. A 52 suede says the chest is 23.2 - not sure why I'd need an extra 4 inches in the chest.
