I typically prefer a more snug fit for my outwear as I don't frequently layer much. I typically wear a 52 blazer and generally a 52 for outerwear (sometimes 50 if a purchasing a looser fit). Based on the measurements provided when compared to other coats I own, the 48 seems to be the best size for me. I've never worn a 48 in anything, so I am a bit hesitant. Would you recommend going with the 48 or the 50? I'm 5'11, 185 lbs, and athletically built. Thanks!

Definitely the 50. Measurements always appear larger when measuring a padded or filled garments because we measure on the outside

Mine is still going strong too! Probably my most frequently complimented clothing item with more "where did you buy that" comments which I'm always very sheepish in my response, lol.
